Why now
Between the hype and the shop floor, the bridge is missing.
A new generation of robots is learning tasks that could not be automated before. BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Schaeffler are already running pilots. At the same time, very few of these systems are ready for series production, and most of what creates value on the shop floor today is proven robotics, applied well.
If you are responsible for production, that leaves two questions. Where do you start without spending money on the wrong thing? And how do you prepare without betting on marketing promises?
The Robotics Readiness Framework grew out of exactly that gap. We built it together with an industrial customer and sharpened it in practice.
The path
Six phases. One clear path.
From the first screening to live operation, every phase ends with a tangible result and a conscious decision about whether and how to continue.
01 ·
Screen
A quick check across your task landscape shows where a closer look is worth it.
02 ·
Assess
We build the readiness profile of your production: data, infrastructure, approvals, and the people who work with it.
03 ·
Roadmap
Your use cases, prioritized and honestly sorted: do now, run as a pilot, or keep watching.
04 ·
Validate
A proof of concept with clear success and abort criteria before you invest.
05 ·
Deploy
Integration into the real workflow, with everything that comes with it: process, interfaces, safety, team.
06 ·
Operate
Reliable day-to-day operation. We measure what the system delivers and scale to further tasks.
The first three phases are available as a compact entry module. After 8 to 12 weeks there is a decision paper on the table that your management can work with.
Maturity
Every rung creates value. None is a bet.
Nobody has to take a giant leap. Introducing robotics is a ladder, and we place every task and every line on one of four rungs.
Automated
01Proven robotics for stable, well-defined workflows.
Smart
02Sensors and vision make variants, changing positions and tolerances manageable.
Adaptive
03Systems that learn from data and replan on their own when something changes.
Next-gen-ready
04Processes, data and infrastructure are ready for the next generation of robots, whether humanoid, mobile, or something that is not on the market yet.
One thing matters to us here: every rung pays for itself. If you get the foundations right today, you earn money now and are prepared when the new generation is ready for production.
Outcomes
You end up with a decision on the table. Not a study.
01 ·
Prioritized use-case portfolio
Your manual tasks, rated by value and feasibility and clearly sorted: do now, run as a pilot, or keep watching.
02 ·
Readiness profile with low-hanging fruits
Where your production stands today on data, infrastructure, approvals and team, and which preparations are worth doing right away.
03 ·
Decision paper for management
Business cases for your top use cases and a concrete implementation roadmap. We present it to your leadership if you want us to.
The tools behind it stay in use at your company and grow with every new piece of information. The project becomes the basis for all your future automation decisions.
How we work
Evidence over claims.
Every use case gets checked in three ways: with data from your systems (MES, ERP), in conversations with the people who do the task every day, and with our own eyes, on site in your plant.
And because we are not tied to any manufacturer, we rate solutions by how well they fit your workflow. Not by who sells them.
